Skopje, 01.09.2008. Edusoft and USAID’s Judicial Reform Implementation Project (JRIP) have signed a Contract for the implementation of the Automated Court Case Management Information System (ACCMIS). This project’s main goal is to support the implementation of new reforms and the improvement of court practices and material resources. Edusoft will provide the application software package, as well as installation in all courts in the Macedonian Judiciary, train more than 2000 end users and will perform maintenance during a 5 (five) year period.
This project will be carried out in the period from September 2008 until January 2016.
The ACCMIS software will be installed on 36 locations, including:
- The Supreme Court of the Republic of Macedonia
- Appellate Courts (Skopje, Bitola, Stip and Gostivar)
- The Administrative court in Skopje
- Trial courts (Skopje 1, Skopje 2, Bitola, Prilep, Negotino, Resen, Ohrid, Gevgelija, Krusevo, Veles, Kumanovo, Kratovo, Kriva Palanka, Tetovo, Gostivar, Debar, Kicevo, Stip, Kocani, Vinica, Sveti Nikole, Radovis, Strumica, Struga, Delcevo, Berovo, Kavadarci)
- Judicial Council
- Academy for Training of Judges
- Ministry of Justice
During the ceremonial signing of the contract, Mr. Sam Juncker, JRIP Chief of Party, emphasized that this project is of great importance to them. He also expressed his sincere hopes that ACCMIS will contribute to the improvement of the court case management processes and will increase the workflow efficiency.
The Automated Court Case Management Information System (ACMIS) will to be used to process all cases in all courts in the Macedonia Judiciary. The goals of this project are to develop, test, document, install, train, implement and support ACCMIS, which:
- Operates in an on- line real time basis,
- Provides services 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year,
- Allows appropriate public access and
- Provides full management reporting.
